The qualification is intended for workers in the asbestos removal industry who are already supervisors and wish to progress their career, or who are experienced site managers in the construction industry and need to know about the management of asbestos removal.

The objective of this qualification is to ensure that learners will know and understand the health and safety requirements that are relevant to asbestos removal, methods and procedures for removing asbestos and understand how to effectively manage the sites on which asbestos removal is taking place.
