This tutor pack has been developed to help tutors to plan, prepare and deliver training for the RSPH Level 2 Award in Identifying and Controlling Food Allergy Risks qualification. This qualification is appropriate for anybody involved in the handling foods and provides learners with an understanding of why food allergens need to be controlled and strategies for control

The tutor pack contains digital versions of the following resources:

  • Tutor manual, with a lesson plan divided into six delivery modules. (Introduction, legislation, common allergens, dishes and products, contamination and cross-contamination and communication). The manual includes learner revision exercises and planning information. This is available as a WORD document and a pdf.
  • Presentation (MS PowerPoint)

Trainers are advised to tailor their programme to suit the needs of the business sector, the learner group and their own style of delivery.
