As part of his ‘Connect to Prosper’ initiative, the 695th Lord Mayor of the City of London, Alderman Professor Michael Mainelli, is bringing thought leaders from the scientific, academic and business worlds to demonstrate how the City’s strengths and leadership can help to solve global challenges, as established through the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The event will present research using Well-being as the methodology to highlight how the Public Value Water. It will demonstrate how to stimulate cross border cooperation for higher standards in sanitation and hygiene globally. It will also showcase the ability of UK Plc to deliver global solutions particularly in the areas of sanitation and clean water to the communities most in need. Finally, the event will highlight practical examples and potential future collaboration with new partners including between livery companies.
