Climate change has been labelled as the biggest health threat facing humanity and the greatest health threat this century – but also as the greatest public health opportunity. The latter is particularly relevant if climate change and health inequalities are tackled in a fair and joined up way. This webinar, designed for a diverse audience, will present an overview of the many public health issues associated with climate change globally, within the framework of The 2024 Global Report of the Lancet Countdown, and then focus on local and regional public health perspectives, actions and opportunities.
