The Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH) has granted accreditation to BaxterStorey’s team member food allergen training programmes.

BaxterStorey is a major UK hospitality provider, operating in over 1000 locations. Their team members all share a passion for innovation and delighting their customers with memorable hospitality experiences.

BaxterStorey's food allergen training programmes are now accredited by RSPH

RSPH now accredits the company’s Allergen Awareness and Allergen Champion e-learning programmes. These provide team member with an understanding of the common food allergens, how to protect vulnerable customers, and how to follow the organisation’s allergen management workplace procedures. The training was created in partnership with Mindboost, who create emotion-led custom e-learning environments.

These comprehensive, high quality e-learning programmes have been recognised by RSPH through its long established accreditation scheme.

Janice Constable, RSPH Membership and Educational Services Director, commented:

“It is important that people understand the potential dangers from food allergens and how these can be controlled. RSPH is pleased to support the education of these team members to help them to provide food that is safe for everyone to eat, no matter what their allergen status. We congratulate BaxterStorey on their commitment to the education of their colleagues and their achievement of RSPH accreditation for these programmes.”

Nicola Pearce, Head of Food, Health and Safety at BaxterStorey, added:

“Allergen management is extremely important to BaxterStorey, it is essential that our team members understand what food allergies are and how to manage them effectively. We are proud to have developed accredited allergy training in partnership with the Royal Society of Public Health to ensure we offer best in class support to our teams.”
